Bela Scores is a scorekeeping app for the card game Bela (Belote). This policy explains what data the app handles. The short version: your games stay on your device and in your own iCloud account, and we do not collect, sell, or track your personal data.
Matches, rounds, scores, players, team names and app settings are stored locally on your device. This data is yours and is not sent to us.
If you enable iCloud sync, your matches and players are synchronized through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, so your data appears on your other devices. This data lives in your private iCloud database. The developer has no access to it and cannot read it. Sync is handled entirely by Apple — see Apple's privacy policy.
The optional card scanner uses your camera to recognize the cards your team won. All image processing happens on your device using an on-device model. Camera frames are never stored or transmitted off the device, and no photos are saved.
The optional one-time "Pro" purchase is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage and validate the purchase entitlement. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app user identifier and the purchase/receipt information needed to confirm your Pro status. This is not linked to your identity, and we do not receive your name, email, or payment details — Apple handles billing.
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not build a profile of you and do not track you across apps or websites.
Bela Scores does not knowingly collect personal information from children and is not directed at children under 13.
